Elevating Devices Mechanic Apprentice
Delta Elevator is currently seeking enthusiastic applicants to join our growing team of Elevating Devices Mechanic Apprentices in the Kitchener and Mississauga office.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Post-secondary education or experience in electrical/electronics
- Self-motivated
- Able to work in groups and independently
- Eager to learn and grow with the company
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Capable of heavy lifting
- Knows how to use construction equipment and hand tools
- Knowledgeable about building construction practices
- Experience working at heights and with scaffolding
Successful candidates with sufficient qualifications will be registered with the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) as an Elevating Devices Mechanic – Trainee (EDM-T). This is a four-year apprenticeship program leading to a secure and well-paying career.
