Accessibility Funding

Various levels of government provide funding, including grants, for accessibility lift or elevator retrofits to existing buildings. Some of these programs are ongoing, while others operate for specific time periods.

• In Ontario, the Trillium Foundation provides grants for accessibility projects.
• The Canadian federal government operates its accessibility programs through Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC). Try the Enabling Accessibility Fund.
