Delta Elevator Upgrades Manufacturing Equipment
In order to meet the increasing demand for elevators in Southern Ontario, Delta Elevator is upgrading its manufacturing capacity through the purchase of a state-of-the-art Trumpf fiber laser.
The new laser technology cuts through 1/16 inch thick steel at the blinding rate of 1,200 in/min – four times faster than our current CO2 laser – and will cut mild steel up to 1 inch thick. This videoOpen in New Tab demonstrates its performance.

The fiber laser is anticipated to be delivered to our Kitchener plant in February 2020, and will join our existing array of other Trumpf equipment.
